Players must be eighteen (18) years of age or younger as of the final day of the National Championship (August 4, 2023). Players must be amateurs as defined by the USGA and may not be full-time college students.

Players will qualify within the PGA Section in which they reside. A player resides at the location in which they spend 183 days or more per year. Players are NOT allowed to compete for an exemption in more than one Section. The Minnesota Section PGA geographically includes the entire states of Minnesota and North Dakota; South Dakota (less areas surrounding cities of Rapid City, Vermillion, and Yankton); and a portion of Western Wisconsin that includes St. Croix County and Superior, Wisconsin.

18 Hole Individual Stroke Play Qualifier

Boys will need to register for ONE of the six qualifiers (YOU CAN ONLY PLAY IN ONE QUALIFIER). A certain number of boys from each age division from EACH qualifier will get invited to the 2023 MN Boys Junior PGA Championship which is taking place at Bemidji Town & CC in Bemidji, Minn. on July 5-6, 2023. The deadline to get registered for a Qualifier is on Sunday, June 11 at 11:59 p.m. CST

Each Qualifier has an entry fee of $65.00 for a member and non-member. If a junior boy does qualify for the 2023 MN Section Boys Junior PGA Championship you will have an additional entry fee of $75.00.

The overall low boy and runner-up from the 2023 MN Boys Junior PGA Championship will qualify to join the nation's top boy junior golfers at the 2023 National Boys Junior PGA Championship that will be held at Hot Springs CC in Hot Springs, Arkansas on August 1-4, 2023.
