Electronic Devices

The "use" of ANY electronic devices including distance-measuring devices, mobile telephones, personal music systems and the like are prohibited for use by participants in MN PGA Junior Golf Association events. ANY participant found using the above devices during their stipulated round will be DISQUALIFIED.

On-Site Check-In Policy

Participants in all Beginners', Transition and Junior Tour events must register or be in line to register 20 minutes prior to the scheduled start of the tournament. All reservations may be cancelled after that time and members may not receive a refund.

Example: If a tournament is scheduled to begin with an 8:00 a.m. shotgun, a participant must be checked in (or in line to check in) by 7:40 a.m. Otherwise, the MN PGA Junior Golf Association reserves the right to cancel the participant’s registration and use it for a walk-on participant. If a tournament is using tee times, participants must check in with the starter on the tee at least 20 minutes prior to their scheduled starting time.

Walk-On Policy
Any junior who is a member of the Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Association may attempt to try to walk-on at any of the Minnesota PGA Junior Golf Association Beginners’, Transition, or Junior Tour events. Juniors who go to an event on the day of the event hoping someone will no-show MAY be allowed to play on a first come first serve basis. These entries will be eligible to win a pin or plaque regardless if they are filling a no-show spot in their respective age group. Please note - only payment by cash or check will be accepted on site. This is one of the only times that we will accept payment by check for an event. If you pay by check for a walk on entry fee it needs to be made out for the exact amount.
