A cool crisp morning turned out to be a beautiful day for golf.  For the 2nd round at Maddens Pine Beach East Course two formats were used.  Four-ball/best ball was used on the front nine and Foursome/Alternate Shot was used on the back nine.

In the junior boy/adult division, Riley & Dan Johnson of Elk River, MN fired a 33-38=71 (one under par).  In doing so they defended their championship from a year ago with a two-day total of 72-71=143 (one under par).  Finishing runner-up, four shots back were Ben & Troy Mallow of Pelican Rapids, MN who shot 74-73=147.  In the junior girl/adult division, Elizabeth & Daniel Nye of Edina, MN shot 42-46=88.  Combined with their first round of 81, they won the championship with a two-day total of 169.
